Cricut Vinyl Will Not Release From Transfer Tape
Snipping through the transfer tape between the pieces of vinyl allowed me to more easily curve the decal around the mug.
Cricut vinyl will not release from transfer tape. For use with all cricut cutting machines. Tried the other roll and it is the same extremely sticky. Opened new roll cricut transfer tape stuck my vinyl to it and it will not release vinyl to anything thought it was a faulty roll and opened my second new roll. Using scissors to clip through your transfer tape but not your vinyl can help you to avoid bubbles and folds.
You can see how i used this technique when making this mug for father s day in the image below. Unfortunately it would not release the cut out letters when applied to the surface because it is extremely sticky. You create a decal but only some of the letters stick onto the transfer tape while the rest are left behind on the backing paper. Your vinyl is not sticking to your transfer tape.
Use it to create custom made media covers personalized labels unique decor and so more. You create a decal but when you go to pick it up with the transfer tape the vinyl refuses to release from the backing paper.
